The Nexus S Is Here

Google’s beautiful new Samsung-built superphone has been released. The Nexus S runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread, and outperforms the iPhone 4 in terms of hardware. It’s a fantastic device, and despite the fact it isn’t running HTC Sense or some kind of UI enhancement on top of Andorid, Gingerbread is still a very attractive proposition. The Nexus S is also supplied carrier-unlocked, and supports a huge variety of different radio bands, meaning that you can take it pretty much anywhere in the world and get a 3G signal; a real plus for frequent travellers such as myself, who often don’t get access to wifi abroad.
